    • Etched “Berlin 1955” on the side of ashtray where the metal is smooth. The coins are welded around the perimeter and slightly curved for a cigarette or cigar to sit upon. Unusual and hard to find.

    The inner portion is hammered and does have some pitting. I have circled the pitting in red because of so much reflection. It is really minimal.
    Other imperfection (light scratches, watermarks, etc) of the ashtray are consistent with use of something from 1955.
